Educational Robotics (WeDo – Scratch)

The course is designed to provide information and raise awareness of educational robotics and automation to students in the last grades of primary school.

The students will first of all be introduced to the Scratch software program, and will learn about engineering, physics and mathematics concepts in a fun way. The activities they will complete will entertain them, deepen their knowledge significantly and bring out competent skills they need to acquire to support their future path in tomorrow’s society.

The course is also ideal in raising awareness among students to participate in the annual Educational Robotics Competitions. Educational robotics also teaches them that the whole world is surrounded by automation .

Purpose of the program

The purpose of Primary Educational Robotics is the learning of physics, technology, mathematics and engineering (S.T.E.M.), practically without theories and unnecessary terminology, and methods of analysis and problem solving. At the same time, it is possible to develop ingenuity skills, algorithmic & programming patterns and demonstrate team spirit.
