Ορνιθόπτερο
Ο Λεονάρντο Ντα Βίντσι είχε σχεδιάσει ένα μηχάνημα στο οποίο υπήρχαν φτερά τοποθετημένα σε πετάλια με τα οποία ένας άνθρωπος, με τη μυική του δύναμη, μπορούσε να πετάξει. Παρά τον έξυπνο σχεδιασμό του, το Ορνιθόπτερο δεν μπορεί να πετάξει μόνο με τη μυική δύναμη.
Ornithopter
Leonardo Da Vinci designed an ingenius machine with winges connected to pedals. A human was supposed to use muscle power to lift the Ornithopter in the skies. However, despite the clever design, this contraption was impossible to fly with muscle strenght alone.
